"There must be something we can do!"
"We could all put on parachutes."
"We don't have parachutes!"
"I know. Depressing, isn't it? Forty-seven seconds until impact."
I love Ghostbusters. I really do.
In the episode Ragnorok and Roll, the villain's spell to awaken the ancient evil and bring about the end of the world? Totally the inscription on the One Ring. Then he starts mumbling other things, including the word "Morgoth." I love this show. Geek heaven.
Drowned Wednesday by Garth Nix finally came out, but it's in hardcover. I don't mind that normally, I prefer hardcover to mass market, but the first two books were only released in paperback, so I'm annoyed. The cover art is excellent.
On the first day there was mystery,
on the second day there was darkness,
on the third day there were pirates...
I'm going to cave in and buy it in hardcover, but I'll probably try to resist for a little while longer.
Tomorrow's my day off, and the entire day will most likely be given over to cleaning the kitchen and working on various stories. I haven't written more than a page or two since I started the new job, and I really want to work on a couple of things.
Also, I really want to sleep. On that note...
