Nov. 24th, 2003 06:06 pmMy feet hurt, my back is killing me, and I am desperately craving apple juice. Which I don't have.
I'm in a drawing to win tickets to the advance showing of Return of the King here in Richmond. Go me! My store is next door to the theatre and they send us tickets to advance showings all the time. The managers usually just hand them out to whoever happens to be around at the time, but this time they're doing a drawing - only employees who have been submitted for doing above and beyond the call of duty can win, and you can be entered multiple times. I'm already in there twice. *grins* The contest started this morning. *grins hugely* The advance showing is on the 11th of December, which means I'd have to keep my mouth shut about it for a whole week if I won. That might be tough. ;)
*wanders off to work on Birdwatching*
And before I go:
I'm confused. On the one hand - shouldn't all of those details been prearranged with the palace staff before Bush even arrived? In which case, someone over there screwed up big-time. But if he just randomly started making changes, and showed up unannounced in a helicopter, then something is seriously wrong with that man.
Well, I personally think he's several bricks short of a house even on his best of days.
But seriously, who the heck handled the arrangements of his arrival? I can't believe he just showed up in a helicopter, completely without warning. Well, I don't want to believe it. So who the hell arranged that? And when are they getting fired?
