Oct. 13th, 2003 12:39 amI ended up staying a second night in Fairlawn, despite having fully intended to be a good girl and go home fairly early this evening. Ended up going to Cyn's house where we all crashed, watched Charmed and the foulness-that-is-the-new-Tarzan (see previous post) then spazzed for an hour or so.
Had a great time. We all went to Walmart last night and proceeded to not act our ages AT ALL. Fortunately, the Walmart people seemed to think we were funny, and a very nice (and amused) employee even climbed up a stack of shelves for us because we wanted to play with the electronic Ninja Turtle weapons. Mary thinks I need to get the Bo so I can defend myself on night walks. I personally am tempted by the Shell Cell. *grins* Why yes, I am ten years old, why do you ask?
We proceeded to do absolutely nothing of any value today whatsoever. Got up around nine, and talked about writing and some stories we've been working on. Mary's thinking of doing NaNoWriMo, and I'm tempted to join her, although I'm not crazy about the quantity over quality stipulations. I understand the reasoning, but I think the world spends little enough time on improving the quality of just about anything as it is.
May have talked Mary into visiting me in a month or so. *grins* We'll see. Hopefully she'll bring Cyn with.
I've almost got the ending to Time down. This is a story I started back in high school, and it's just been sitting in my harddrive ever since. I took it out and dusted it off for no good reason about a month ago, and I think I know how it needs to be finished now. I'm pretty excited about it - I always liked this story.
My car has spiffy new liscence plates! They match the car! How nifty!
It's time for bed now. Mary's heading off and Ian McKellen is making herself comfortable in my bed.
