onemuseleftSo I met one of our neigbors tonight. Melanie and her boyfriend John were getting in from a night on the town when I got off work, and after they harrassed me for not wearing a coat (southerners. oi) we talked for a while. Melanie said that the only reason she knew we lived there was because the cops kept coming by and knocking on the door. ^_^ She said the cops asked her once if she'd heard anything and she said "You mean someone's moved in?"
They gave me some details on the neighbors - apparently the people below them are the ones with the ten million kids and the piano, which, frankly, is a combination I think all apartment complexes should outlaw immediately. And the guy to the left beneath us is the one with the killer dogs. I'd wondered.
We didn't talk for very long, though she did invite me over some time to jump up and down on her living room floor at 2 am. I think I may like this girl. ^_^
