Takeaway from episode 35: Look I don't care what canon seems to be implying, Zhao Yunlan was there for months and also had a mini-crisis about whether or not being with Baby Shen Wei counted as cheating.

(On a more serious note, Shen Wei's face when Kunlun and Ye Zun were both gone. The way he told him men it was up to them now, when he still had plenty of time to move/escape, the way he just... fell, no flailing, no attempt to escape. That was some good acting.)

Also damn, I love Da Qing with this hair. The bowl cut and overalls make him look like he's twelve years old half the time but he's gorgeous.

All three of them just need to grow their hair out again. I'm sorry I don't make the rules.

There's some circumstantial evidence to support this, fwiw, in particular the fact that the Rebel Leader is hit with a dark energy bullet when ZYL first arrives and is healed in later scenes. It took Zhu Jiu quite a while to recover from his similar wound. (There's another subtle background thing, too, but it would count as a minor spoiler at this stage in your viewing.)

Given that future Shen Wei would already know about it and have factored it into his decision-making, I vote no. *g*

Yeah the timeline for the time travel is kind of janked up. I feel like you could easily make the argument he was there for a long time. Esp because it takes more than "a few hours" to make wine, what the heck. I am going with the idea he was there for a while and got to be a real part of the resistance. If he didn't get to BE Kunlun for more than a few minutes, it makes so sense Shen Wei would have hidden all mention of the guy from him.

Also I just really want to write Baby Shen Wei falling in love with ZYL, I need it a lot.
