Finished episode three of Lost Tomb! I love the sets on this show, the tomb aesthetic really speaks to me :)

Notes:

1) Wu Xie angsts beautifully. We knew he would.
2) I feel like people controlling the thunder should be a Big Deal but I have a feeling it won't be.
3) SIR. WHERE IS YOUR SHIRT?
4) I have absolutely figured out how I would make this a Guardian AU.
5) I am living for the moment Wang Pangzi finds out about the cancer, oh my god, forget the plot I just need that so much.

3) hahahaha I have been calling Lost Tomb by the official subtitle of SIR: YOUR FACE but yes, SIR: YOUR SHIRT would be a strong contender for certain episodes. (Needless to say, the first Sir is Z1L but I do really appreciate Qiling's commitment to taking his shirt off...)

SIR: YOUR FACE is a perfect subtitle for this show, oh my god. Every other minute Zhu Yilong is emoting at us SO HARD.

I'm thinking the Guardian AU would have Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan: star-crossed lovers from Rival Tomb Raider Families and then Zhao Yunlan disappears on a raid (or excavation, if we're lending an air of legitimacy to this whole thing) and Shen Wei sets out to find him or Die Trying.

I don't know where you are but without spoilers, after some mostly fast-forward eps the latter half of ep 16 is peak WHAT EVEN IS YOUR FACE SIR. Just so you know.

Ooh star-crossed lovers and Entirely Legitimate Tomb Explorers! Yes please. Team Dixing and Haixing are Business Competitors slash Arch Enemies, obviously. And yes of course find him or die trying is Shen Wei all over. <3
