onemuseleftI want to watch more Guardian but 1) the last episode left me really cold and 2) I know what's coming so I keep trying to put it off. Like the ending will be any less tragic if I just never watch it?

Date: 2020-07-02 02:54 pm (UTC)What I did to deal with the last 10 eps or so is to take a long break and read the novel instead. The novel is very different but the core of SW and ZYL stay pretty much the same and there's a happy ending (in fact, the author on learning of the ending of the drama wrote an extra chapter JUST to deal with the drama ending.) It made the ending of the drama must easier to process.

Date: 2020-07-10 01:05 am (UTC)I haven't read the novel yet, but it's on my to-do list. Mostly what I've been doing to cope is rewatching the first episodes. :) It doesn't hurt for fanfic research, either.
I'm pretty much just going to handwave the ending I think. Immediate fix-it. What tragic ending? They buy a house together and live happily ever after because I said so.
