1) McGill Dances for Cancer Research
Scientists, students, technicians and volunteers from the Goodman Cancer Research Centre dance to Taio Cruz's Dynamite. For every hit the video gets, a company called Medicom will make a donation to fund their research. So click! ( a few times, if you're so inclined!)

2) The Hillywood Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Friday music video
I'm not going to lie. I have never seen the Rebecca Black video, but this makes me think it can't be THAT bad. Also, the actual Harry Potter video is hysterical in it's own right. I find myself quoting it at odd moments. "Now! For! Some Parseltongue!"

3) Momentary Paws (or: Do Not Want!) by velithya
Fic rec! It's Avengers fic in which Iron Man gets turned into a tiny adorable kitten and he is having NONE OF THIS NONSENSE. Also, Spider-Man is really into Lolcats. And Steve likes kittens. A lot. Also, Tony. So there's that. It's really sweet, adorable and absolutely hysterical. If you're not into Avengers but still want to read an adorable, awesome fic, read this. It's pretty accessible and also there is a tiny, adorable kitten that is totally plotting Spider-Man's demise.

4) OK Go and the Muppets
I want to see the new Muppets movie so hard. It's second only to The Avengers on the list of things I WILL SEE DAMNIT. This vid is tiding me over - it's OK Go and the cast of the Muppets performing an extended version of the Muppets theme song.

5) Super Hero Sidekick Application Form
Dick Grayson fills out a survey. This goes about as well as you might expect.

Craig Fergusson's Late, Late Show Doctor Who Cold Opening Song: This, right here, is a prime example of why I'd totally marry Craig Fergusson in a heartbeat.

Oh, No, You Didn't!: A Deadpool vid, set to the song Oh No You Didn't! by the Wojahn Brothers. I love Deadpool, and the song is a perfect, perfect fit. The vid itself is a little rough in spots, since there's not a lot of Deadpool footage out there, but it's worth watching. Fair warning: the song will get stuck in your head.

O Death: The Ringwraith: Not happy, but very, very awesome. A LotR music video sent to Jen Titus's O Death.


A List of Random Fic Recs (in no particular order, all are completed):

-Reception in the Ball Pit by trascendenza: Psych, Gus/Shawn. Shawn and Gus are planning a wedding. Well, there's going to be a wedding. There doesn't seem to be much planning going on.
- Five Things Sorkin Never Got to Steal From Sportscenter by scrunchy. Sports Night, gen (maybe some Danny/Casey? and Natalie/Jeremy). I don't know what Sportscenter is, no lie, but these five ficlets are still really cute.
-The Very Secret Diary of Captain Steven G Rogers in the Twenty First Century Avengers movie-verse, Steve/Tony. Steve is getting used to the 21st Century. EVERYONE wants to help.
-Been There, Done That by Martha Wilson. H:tLJ, Gen. It's a SG-1 crossover, but Iolaus doesn't know what's going on and you don't need to either. It's hysterical and completely in-character.
-Home is Where the Heart Is by Martha Wilson and Kimberly Rector. H:tLJ, Gen. I pretty much replaced canon with this fic and it's sequels, it's that good. Set during Season 5-ish of the series, after Iolaus's death and going into AU from there.
-The Very Secret Diaries of Captain Jack Sparrow by viva_gloria.PotC/LotR. I don't even know how to summarize this one. Captain Jack got very, very lost.
-Pretty Pieces, Tossed Aside by ana_grrl, Firefly, Mal/Simon. Not a happy fic, fair warning! There's a sickness going round, and the crew of Serenity are trapped in the black, listening to the planets go silent.
-Five Times Frank Hardy Almost Gave Up Being a Detective by kahn. Hardy Boys, gen. Some of these are pretty dark - one inspired me to write Queen of Hearts. Some of them are funny. All of them are fantastic.
-The Great Job Hunt by peroxidepest17. A:tLA, Gen. The war is over and Toph isn't sure what's supposed to happen next.
-Almost Ten Minutes by Kay the Cricketed. TMNT, Gen. Leo always has to push himself a little further, even when he shouldn't.
-Rowan and Ruin by Thundera Tiger. LotR, gen. Legolas, Gimli and their friendship, long after the war has ended.
-The Wendell That Wasn't by opalish. Harry Potter, canon pairings. How Harry and Ginny's kids got their names. It's really all Snape's fault.
-Underdark by Nekotsuki. TMNT, gen. Mike and Leo are trapped and cut off from the others after an explosion. Leo's down for the count and Mike does NOT like being the go-to guy.
-Misadventures in Maliciously Misattributed Medication by Serendipity. TMNT, gen. Leo gets drugged. Again. His brothers are starting to wonder about him, they really are.
