onemuseleftI just got accused of plagiarism over on FF.net, which I would be taking a little more seriously if the accuser had expressed themselves with any kind of intelligence at all. Apparently I stole The Queen of Hearts from someone named "Alice" which makes me wonder if I'm being accused on behalf of a fictional character. (The title was named for the playing card because of the whole thing with the body parts and the playing cards and I give up.) Anyway, the girl called me a bitch in the review so I reported her. Petty, but satisfying. I also told her that if she was seriously concerned about plagiarism she should have the author of the original story contact me so we can figure out what the problem is, but I somehow doubt that's ever going to happen. sidara and kahn hadn't beta-read that story for me about five hundred times as it was being written.)
A nice welcome back from my weekend vacation, at any rate. I'll post about New York later and catch up with everyone in a bit. Now I want breakfast.
ETA:fairaday, the Detective Extraordinaire, figured out what happened. Ulf stole a story from Alice I. Ulf was caught out and deleted his/her/its journal in shame, and now all that remains of Ulf is his/her/its favorites page which contains exactly one link. That's right. The Queen of Hearts. So I'm in the clear, and the accuser (who remains nameless here) is just a fucking moron.
