Nov. 14th, 2005 11:58 pmI suppose it makes me a bad fan that I'm not all that enthusiastic about Goblet of Fire opening this weekend.
Most of it, I think, is just a lingering bad mood which is making me dislike just about everything at the moment. Part of it is that I don't care for the ways the studio is adapting the books into movies (although the rumored absence of Dobby almost makes me forgive them for a bunch of other stuff). I'm not a purist - the LotR movies were fantastic, in my opinion, even though they changed a lot of things. It's what they're choosing to change that I dislike.
The rest of it is me wanting to save all my money so I can see The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe about thirty times.
Also, Chicken Little. Yes, I know. It's the intellectual stimulation of a soap opera, but it looks really cute.
Who am I kidding? I'll go see it anyway, in the probably futile hope that Ron gets to be cool for a little while.
