Nov. 9th, 2005 12:13 pmOne month till Narnia!
Today is my second twelve-hour shift in a row, and the District Manager will be there. She managed to piss off the entire store last night when she came in and immediately started tearing the place apart. To say we were annoyed was an understatement. Hopefully tonight she'll be a little more productive. I know she's under a lot of stress, but really. It's not exactly a lot of fun for us right now, either.
Tomorrow I have a dentist's appoiontment, the first in I-don't-think-I'll-tell-you-how-many years.I have real issues with dentists and I'm going to have to watch myself because I'll take any opportunity to get out of going. But Barbara managed to convince her dentist to take me as a last-minute thing when another patient cancelled, so bailing on the appointment would be dissing the favor she did for me.
I really, really don't like dentists.
I shall be treating myself to the new Lynne Truss book, and Feast for Crows as a reward for going, though, so hopefully my whiny bitch of a subconscious will listen to common sense and fantasy fangirl-ese and help drag my butt in there tomorrow.
