What do you write?
Anything? Everything? slash, gen, het, h/c, fantasy, scifi, reality fiction, historical fiction, essays, rants.

What fandoms do you write in?
Many. What fandoms am I consistent in? Animorphs, Mighty Ducks, Yu Yu Hakusho, Sentinel (although I haven't posted anything in years, I still play around), Ghostbusters, Harry Potter. Probably others.

I also play with Hardy Boys, TMNT, Everworld, Inuyasha (this is too new to be considered consistent, but we'll see), Lord of the Rings, Hercules.

I do not post Hercules fanfic. It is my One True Fandom and I tend to be a little obsessive about anything I write in that fandom.

What fandoms do you want to write in?
Well, one day I will post a Hercules fanfic. One day. When I'm happy with the end result of what I write. Otherwise... Saiyuki. FAKE.

Which scenes (fanfic or original) are you most pleased with?
Well, I'm inordinately pleased with the "Jake and Tobias desperately try to have breakfast" scene from Birdwatching. And the whole thing between Marco and Jake in Closet. I like the "Wildwing says to hell with it" scene from Promenade, and the scene where Harry dreams of Ron in Dark Mirror. I really like the dream sequence with Percy in Darkest. But I think the three scenes I'm most pleased with are all original. A) the infirmary scene in Supremacy. "Where did you find that?" "In my leg." B) the fight scene at the end of Supremacy and C) Terry going through Jason and Jamie's empty apartment in Silence Has Lease.

Which scenes are you least pleased with?
Umm... all of Home. It was just a one-scene fic anyway and it blew massively. The Last scene of Mending, after Cassie leaves. I think I'm going to rewrite it from Marco's perspective. The Razing prologue to Darkest - Molly Weasly is painful OoC. But the worst scene I ever wrote? Probably that Night Away scene from the first Hercules fic I ever wrote. (Please, God, if you ever see it online, tell me so I can eliminate the evidence)

What fic in its entirety is the best you've written? Original story?
Well, assuming that this doesn't require the fic to be finished... Darkest. Possibly Fix, but there's SO much that hasn't even been touched on there, that it can't really hold up. As for Original fiction - Supremacy.

If you could rewrite any one fic with the help of a professional writer, what would it be and with who?
I'm going with a story instead of a fic. I'd work on Supremacy (sensing a theme here?) and I'd probably beg help off Garth Nix. Second choice would be Sara Douglass (or Lynn Flewelling) to help with The Bhaskara.

What fic do you want to work on most at the moment?
Well, Confession (Animorph fic), if only to get Kat off my back. *blows her a kiss* I really want to work on Stuff of Legends (Inuyasha) but that's probably just because I'm in a mood. Original fic... I really want to finish SwordSpell (Shea fic, for those of you who remember him), which is the epilogue to the Tethys Chronicles. And Supremacy. Reallllly want to work on Supremacy.

What was the first fic you ever wrote?
huh. Hard to say. I wrote fanfic before I knew there was a word for it. When I was very little I would write stories about Darkwing Duck and Talespin. The first one I ever really wrote though, aside from just plotting summaries and story scribbles, would probably be Shredder's Victory. Ninja Turtles fanfic. I was nine. It's more than eighty pages long and I killed Donatello off in the first chapter. Still have it, too.

First Original story that I actually wrote on paper? That's harder to remember. I don't think I can recall the first. The first I remember would be a short story about a boy named Henry who found out that everyone could read minds, except for him and a few others.

Who are your great inspirations?
Eh. Define inspiration. I love reading books by Lynn Flewelling and Garth Nix and Patricia Wrede. I want to be half as good as Sara Douglass. I wish I was half as prolific as Katherine Applegate. Half as detailed as Tolkien and half as creative as Wendy Pini. So, who knows? I take inspiration where I find it, and although I respect and admire anyone who takes the chance of putting their ideas on paper (or internet) for the whole world to critique, imitate and emulate, I'm not sure where I would draw the line between admiration and inspiration.

Favorite fic writers? Kat! My roommate Sonnet - although she NEVER FINISHES ANYTHING! Absolutely anyone from the Less than Legendary Journeys. Kim Garvin (who seems to have disappeared from TMNT fandom a long time ago. Robyn Thurman and Mara from Ghostbusters fame. Others that will come to mind as soon as I click 'update journal.'
