I'm extremely tired, but I think that can safely be considered my fault for staying up until six am for two days in a row. I will, however, toss a fair amount of culpability in the general direction of
sidara because she can usually be found inspiring me to disregard the normal world in favor of whatever story she has decided I need to write at the time.
Last couple nights it was Flashback, the fic with the ever-changing and rather self-explanatory title.
In local news, yes I do live in the path of the big, evil hurricane, but I'll be fine - Mother Nature and me go way back. I am, however, annoyed because the power goes out around here if anyone sneezes, and I just know we're gonna end up trying to read by candlelight for at least a full night.
I am worried about the people on the coast who chose not to evacuate, and I hope everyone will be safe. And Colleen, (who was evacuated to Chesapeake, for anyone who might be worried about her) I hope you're having the best hurricane party ever. :) Save a shot or two for me. And thanks for calling to let me know you were all right - I had been worried. MWAH!
Today I'm going to make blueberry muffins, cause I want some, and because Ryo started salivating when I mentioned them. Then I'm going to write and watch as much of Season 1 Hercules as I can get through before the inevitable power failure.
Have a great day, everyone!
