Hercules has magic paint that makes whatever you paint come true.
And it doesn't even occur to him to paint Iolaus back to life? Hercules who wandered around threatening to kill gods if they didn't give Iolaus back? Hercules who was all about drowning for a while there after Iolaus died? Hercules who told Nebula he'd die if it would bring Iolaus back?
And he didn't even think about it?
