Okay, so the trailer for Ninja Turtles 2007 is even more fucking awesome on the big screen. Yes, I did squeal like a fangirl and bounce in my seat.
Yes, I have already requested that weekend off. ^_^
I finished reading Children of Men. It was pretty good, but not spectacular. I'm not sure why it's in the mystery section; it seems more appropriate for the regular fiction section, but whatever. I'm currently rereading Shadowfall before moving on to Hinterlands and I'm remembering how much I loved that book the first time I read it. Hopefully the sequel won't be a let down. We all know the rule about the second part of a trilogy, right?
"There are times a man wants to keep something to himself. Like, say, he's got a son. Or he's twenty-nine years old and he keeps a journal with a unicorn drawn on the cover."
"It's a horse with a sword on his head and he's there to guard my hopes and dreams."
Work is interesting. There are about a million rumors about the Hampton store closing, so all the Hampton employees are panicking and calling us about jobs and transfers, and all our employees are freaking out that they're going to lose their hours and/or jobs to the Hampton crew. Right now I'm spending more time dealing with that than doing anything else.
On the other hand, most of their store is 50% off so I'm only barely managing not to run down there and buy them out.
It's, like, 70 degrees outside right now, so I'm going to take a walk before bed. Night!
