Jul. 31st, 2006 09:17 amIt was very late.
Midnight had come and gone. The apartment was dark except for the blue light from the television, which cast shadows across the walls and furniture and reflected strangely off the sliding glass doors that led to the balcony.
Shizuru sat cross-legged on the couch, the wineglass held carefully in her fingers and still mostly untouched. She was listening to Kazuma's heavy snoring, to Eikichi, huddled in a terrified ball in the hall closet, to the sound of fingernails dragging slowly down the front door of the apartment.
I should stop watching horror movies at two in the morning. I think that would be a good idea. ^_^
