onemuseleftCar died. I'm 99.99% positive it's the transmission, and so is the guy at the mechanics. The remaining .01% is a sort of desperate hope that things will work out.
This means I'm not going to Richmond this weekend. It means I can't go anywhere during my vacation. It means I have to cancel my trip to Florida next month.
I'll wait to hear from the mechanics tomorrow, but odds are good I'm going to have to buy a new car next week. Which is wonderful. I have about $20 to my name right now and I've never bought a car alone before. I'm not looking forward to this.
I'm going to go cry for a bit and then get over it.
