New sneakers, some earrings, a couple books (First Rider's Call and a Bloom County book), groceries. My DVD player crapped out on me a few months ago and I haven't bothered replacing it yet, mostly because I've been short on cash. But the Sam Goody down at the mall is going out of business and they're selling a nice one for almost half the price I've found anywhere else. I'm going to go back tomorrow and pick it up, if it's still there. Also picked up the Chicago DVD for my mother's birthday, and the soundtrack for Diane's.
Was looking around Lane Bryant's hoping they had gotten some of their summer clothes in. They didn't, but I ended up talking with the manager and she offered me a job. I'm thinking about it, just for the summer. The extra money would be very helpful. So would the discount on clothes, since I get most of my outfits for work from there. Jacob said he'd be okay with working around my schedule, since it'd only be once or twice a week. We'll see.
*makes face* A couple of people are going to the new Cinema Cafe after work, but I begged off. It's nice out and I'd rather not spend half the night in a crowded theatre eating nachoes and watching Eight Below.
