Mar. 3rd, 2006 05:16 pmIt's cold out today, proving once again that Virginia weather just likes to play with us. Yesterday it was 70 degrees outside and sunny, today it's 40. Most of the winter has been like this, actually. It's very strange. Mother Nature is perhaps having temper tantrums in this part of the world.
Short shift at work today, so I get off at ten. I've already decided on sushi for dinner, and I'm really looking forward to eel rolls and imo ten from Kappa Mari (the place we went for
deathgod02's birthday). Last time I was in Richmond we went to a new restuarant, and they had sweet potato tempura rolls! *swoons* Maybe Kappa Mari will make me some, even though they aren't on the menu? hmm...
There's a new Numbers on tonight - I need to remember to set the timer.
Book rec: Holmes on the Range by Steve Hockensmith. It's a muder-mystery, wild west style. Two cowboys (brothers!) suspect that the death of a ranch manager may not be the accident it's made out to be, and start poking around. The eldest brother's hero is Sherlock Holmes, so there are lots of little references that made me laugh, but even non-Holmes fans should enjoy this.
Speaking of books -
sidara! I got my copy of Good Omens! Thank you!

And now to gopretend to be productive before work. Have a great Friday, everybody.
