onemuseleftLeena's back! Yay! So when should I drop in to start making a pest of myself?
Work today was typical. I continue to impress my boss, and I continue to not get paid very much. Lately I've been thinking more and more about looking into getting another job. Don't get me wrong, the money's good, and the job's nice - but it's not something I can build a savings on. Maybe I should give Pierce a call. hmm.
I'm getting sick too, which is not improving my state of mind. Nothing sucks more than working customer service when you have a cold. *makes face* I just hope it doesn't stick around. Last night I cleaned my room and the living room because it's easier to breathe when I'm standing up and moving. I made a fish bowl! It's not real, of course - just a vase with blue glass chips and a plastic fish. The roommates think it's weird, but I like it. *shrugs* And I ended up burning the giant vanilla candle I bought for the inevitable power failure during the hurricane - *sighs* - that would otherwise sit around and be wasted. Smelled really nice, actually. I don't really care for vanilla scents, normally.
The on-going saga of "guess Kelly's age!" has once again turned in a vote of no confidence - today I was mistaken for a high schooler. *sighs* The general consensus, roommates aside, is that I look a lot younger than I am. So why don't I ever get carded? Frankly, I'm not too enthused about being mistaken for a teenager - I get little enough respect as it is from people who know how old I really am. Blake calls me a "little bitty thing" and Rick once referred to me as "kiddo." Diane says I make her feel old. *sighs* I'm the youngest lead in the store, by about five years, but it's not like the others are lining up for the old folks home. Terrence says I'll be grateful when I'm forty.
Which reminds me, I need to call him and change my hours for Dec. 12. Night, guys!
