World, meet the flaming idiot. ARGH! *sighs* Okay, so I win the "Incredibly Stupid Award" for the week, hands down.
Note to self: Next time, check your check register before you put down the security deposit. Just in case.
Blegh. So that was my day so far. Work was cool. I single handedly rearranged three 80 inch bays, complete with waterfall, and if you think that's easy you obviously never tried it. The tower changed, and I got to upgrade the picturebook wall. Yes, yes, my life is ever so fascinating.
Justin and Scott spent all day trying to talk me into going to X2 with them tomorrow night, but if I want a place to sleep this summer I need to get my ass to Norfolk. Leena, I love you, but the drive will kill me.
Notes for random people! Yay!
Laura: You rock. Those who say otherwise will be smacked.
Sonnet: Ditto. Point me in their direction. It'll be a weak, girly-librarian type smack, but there'll be a whole lot of contempt behind it!
Mary: Don't worry about it. She won't hate you. And kick the apartment people for me.
Xana: Still love you lots.
Leena: You are a crazy stalker. Stop calling me. I'll call the police! *g*
Kat: What do you know about seers? And such? You're my font of misc. knowledge! Provide me with useless trivia!
Leslie: Call me when I get home tonight? Around 12. I want to go to Silver Time!
Molly: What's the deal with May 9th?
Misc. people out there aren't cool enough for a personal note. So there! *sticks out tongue* Realistically, I just couldn't think of anything.
In other news, Jacey's getting fixed! *chants in a sing-song voice* The SPCA finally confired his appointment. So there's something for my boy to look forward to.
Speaking of cats: Three people I work with have pets named Lucy. I told them about Lusiphur and how I call her Lusi, and basically we amused ourselves with wacky coincidences.
