Yuletide Reveal & Earthshattering Reveal
Jan. 1st, 2010 03:14 pmFor Yuletide 2009:
Title: The Dawn Patrol
Fandom: Jericho
Characters: Jake Green, Dale Turner
Written for:
perdiccas
I had never written Jericho fic before, EVER, so don't ask me why I thought it would be the best idea ever to sign up for it. But the request I got was for fic about living after the apocalypse and coping with the little details and that's something I love myself. I think this came out all right for my first ever fic in the fandom and hopefully
perdiccas thought so too.
For Earthshattering:
(Earthshattering is a fic exchange just for stories about Rictor and Shatterstar of the current X-Factor comics.)
Title: Three Men and a Baby
Fandom: X-Factor (comics)
Characters: Rictor/Shatterstar, Guido, Madrox
Written for: Bess
This was another first time fandom for me - apparently I felt like torturing myself when I signed up for these. Bess asked for Ric and Star dealing with children in some way, which turned out to be a challenge. I cheated a little and made it a baby who couldn't talk, since I was worried I wouldn't write childish dialogue well. (although pretty much all of Ric and Star's dialogue came out childish, so no worries, really.)
