Does anyone else have "that" fanfic? The one that you've saved to your hard drive and read fifty times even though it's terrible? Sometimes it's so terrible it's kind of awesome, and sometimes it's just plain bad, but there's a scene, or a trope or a kink, or whatever and you just like it. Maybe it was the first fic in the fandom that you really liked and even though you're way older and somewhat more discerning you still have a soft spot for it. Or maybe you just read it to punish yourself. Or whatever. There's something about this, bad, terrible fic that makes you come back for more.
I have that fic. (okay, I have a couple of them). Some are guilty pleasures. There's one that's just plain badfic that I haul out and subject myself to when I'm in a bad mood and need to blow off steam. Then I make

And That Fic is apparently either a) plagiarized (seems unlikely as I read this fic before the publication date of the book) or b) apparently I knew Mel Keegan back in the day.
