I'm offering fanfic in exchange for charitable contributions over at helpthesouth. Pretty much any fandom I'm familiar with, any plot, any subject matter, any character or pairings (if it's something I really don't think I can do justice to, I'll speak up, but otherwise). 5 drabbles or a fic of approximately 1000 words. I'm starting the bidding at $3 and if the bidding goes to $9 or higher, I'll triple the drabble/word count.

K.M. Ruiz, km_ruiz, author of Mind Storm: Book One of the Stryker Syndicate and Karin Lowachee, kiviuq, author of The Gaslight Dogs are having a contest over at their respective blogs. The two winners (one from each author) gets a character named after them in their next books, which sounds like an awesome deal to me.
