Scar: I want vengeance for the wholesale slaughter of my people!

Ed: Revenge is stupid.

Al: I dunno...

Ed: Stupid and pointless!

Al: If someone killed you, I'd want revenge.

Ed: No! Don't do it! If something happens to me I want you to go marry Winry and have metal babies and BE HAPPY DANMIT!

Al: But-

Ed: HAPPY, DAMNIT! Revenge is stupid!

Later:

Scar: *attacks Al and destroys half his body*

Ed: I WILL KILL YOU

Al: I thought vengeance was stupid.

Ed: HIS vengeance is stupid. Mine is perfectly justified, damnit.
