Ruth has been after me to meet her roommate for, oh, EVER and I finally caved in and agreed to let her set us up on a blind date - on the condition that she and Jess come and make it a double-date. We all like sushi so we ended up going to Tokyo at the Coliseum. We got a bunch of different things and all shared. It was nice enough and Chris seemed cool. We mostly talked about Civ III, the Dresden Files and why all families are inherently crazy. Chris invited me to come over Sunday, so I might take him up on that if I'm not working.

I spent another couple of hours at the Hampton bookstore today, taking more manifests back to our store. It's reallllly depressing to watch them slowly pack everything up. Their Kids' Department is pretty much empty and there are "CLEARANCE - 50% OFF!" signs everywhere.

I stopped in at LB to check my schedule (only one shift this week, so it'll be a baby paycheck for me) and ended up shopping because we'd gotten a ton of new things in. Got a new pair of pants for work, and a nice blouse and several pairs of shiny underwear. ^_^ I love the LB underwear and it was 5 for $20 - plus I get 40% off that. So I got everything for the price of the slacks. Not bad, all things considered.

Tomorrow I'm meeting Pam and Lisa Marie to go see Pan's Labyrinth (I think Barbara is coming too), which I've heard good things about.

My big plans for the day involve laundry, honestly. ^_^ I also need to write the next K/K section for 30_kisses before I get the boot. I cannot seem to get motivated on that one. I really want to work on Variation, but I can't remember how Hiei got caught. *sheepish grin*

(I just found the YYH/Pirates of the Caribbean crossover and I'm dying of amusement. 40 pages of wtfwasshethinking?)
