Well, James took the car out and he thinks it's the front end alignment causing the trouble. I have no idea if that is more or less expensive to fix than shocks would be - to be honest, it could still be the shocks. I hate cars. We all know that right? The good news is that I now have a date to go see V for Vendetta, which is awesome because I hate seeing movies by myself and I don't really know anyone else who'd want to see it. We're going to force Amanda to come with and make a night of it. Yay!

In other news, I read a truly horrible book. Touched By Venom is possibly the worst thing I've read in a long, long time. And that includes The Black Jewels Trilogy. I'm tempted to buy a copy and send it to sidara and dhaunea except that they'd both kill me.

I may cave in and buy the new Harry Potter movie. I'm trying to be strong. *resists* I really don't much care for the movies, but this one I quite liked for one reason or another.

Also, why is there no Cutter/Skywise fic? Or Cutter & Skywise fic? Or any ElfQuest fic at all that doesn't focus on Silver Eyes Moonleaf of the DiamondWaters tribe or whatever.

TMNT needs a fanfic community on LJ. We must be the only fandom that doesn't have one. Actually, the fandom doesn't have much of anything except ff.net nowadays. There are a few boards and archives, but few are all-inclusive and most have been abandoned for years. *contemplates* I could start one, if I weren't a horrible procrastinator.

This post is full of rambling thoughts. Just to end things on an equally non-linear note: CSI is kinda neat. I like Greg. But fire ants are bad.

Dear Sonnet,

On the one hand, I love you very, very, very much for the wonerful and awesome beta on All the Years Between.

On the other hand, I just finished reading the most... interesting fanfic in my life, and I can't help but think I'd have the last hour of my life back if you had never sent me the link.

I am torn. And confused. Also, I am now going to spend the entire day thinking about Hiei having a crisis of self-worth because Shiri doesn't want him banging Kurama.

*snickers*

Also, the Yuusuke X Kuwabara fic you sent me makes me wonder what show I've been watching. Did you know Yuusuke cries all the times? Apparently so! I must have missed that. Silly me, I thought the only time he cried was when he thought his best friend had been brutally murdered. Obviously I am not paying enough attention.

I am going to stop before this needs to go on fanficrants.

In short, lovely Sonnet - you continue to be a force for good, weird fanfic links aside. I like that. Even the weird fanfic. It keeps things interesting.
