Relena's Magical Safari Adventure.
I'd forgotten about that.
I mean, what is with that, anyway? It's a show about five boys, their giant robots, and a bad ass war with tons of political commentary, no real bad guys and lots of people dying. Why are the end credits all about the gun-toting pacifist princess wandering through Africa, hugging the wildlife?
Dude. How did they come up with that?
Guy A: "Let's do a show about five boys and their giant robots!"
Guy B: "No! A mahou shojo about a magical princess and her menagerie of talking African wildlife!"
Guy C: "... How about a show about five boys and their giant robots who meet a princess?"
Guy B: "Fine. but I want to animate the end credits."
If you've got a better idea, I'd love to hear it.
