This post is nothing more than a shameless attempt to show off my new icon.
Gaze upon it in adoration! Or, vague confusion, if you prefer. ^_^
In vaguely real-life stuff, yesterday was the first day of Employee Days and it was payday. I didn't actually go insane and buy half the store, but I sure thought about it. I've got a few books set aside for myself (Book Four of the Winds of the Forelands by David Coe, and Elantris by Brandon Stephenson) and a few DVDs (SG:Atlantis season one, which I may be guilted into giving away as a Christmas present). As soon as I pay for everything I've set aside, I'll be almost done with my holiday shopping. *grooves* Just my sister is left so far, and she specifically asked for a gas card. I'm going to throw in a little giftcard to Bath & Body Works, and I also got her a couple cool stationary supplies from the gift department at the bookstore. A gas card just seemed boring, you know?
PS: I want to see Narnia now.
