Well, I'm back from my vacation and I even made it alive!

I actually got back on Tuesday, but I've been lazy. I wanted to say thanks to everyone who wished me luck with the car. It ended up being... bad. Very bad. After all was said and done it cost me $1073 to get it fixed and I wasn't able to make it in time for our day trip to NY. We stil had a good time, but I wish I'd been able to treat Aunt Pat to a day in the city like she's done for me so many times.

But yeah. Massive pain with the car. The only bright side is that my tax refund covered it, so at least the pain was mostly illusionary. But I'm bitter because I was going to actually save that money. It seems like every time I get some extra cash something like this happens.

In other news, marycrawford is incredibly cruel and evil.
