Feb. 9th, 2004 11:55 amAh, another work day. How my heart flutters with anticipation. Or is that dread? *concentrates on it* Definitely dread. Today will not be fun. When I get in tonight, we're going through the disciplinary actions for one of the women who works in my department and I'm not looking forward to it. It's relatively mild, and just involves some retraining and a written standard of what we expect her to change in her work behavior now that we've spoken, but she takes criticism very badly. And I've never done this before. So cross your fingers for me.
Beyond work, this week should be good. I'm going to see Colleen on Saturday! *does Kermit the Frog's YAY! dance* Plus, I've got a couple of stories I'm really excited about working on, and three new YYH DVDs to watch. Thank goodness for replay dollars and half.com or I could NEVER afford to own this show.

sidara from killing me in my sleep one night. I've finally figured out the plot for the YYH/Inuyasha crossover. And the other one is sort of AU. Only not. Possibly. Anyway.
I finished Hades' Daughter and God's Concubine by Sara Douglass and am anxiously awaiting the next one. Yes, I know I'll be holding my breath for a long time, but that's okay. I'll be reading the rest of the Black Jewels Trilogy in the meantime, and I just bought a bunch of used paperbacks that I've always wanted to read. My spending money is now officially gone, but it should tide me over for a while.
And then there's Running With the Crow which will be done soon. Right? *givekahn a pleading look. Pleasepleaseplease? There NO good YYH fanfic out there anymore! I need a fix! And Kuwabara and Yusuke are so cute! Oh, and I need help finding a title for the Inuyasha crossover. Guess what? I think Kurama's there. It's getting all complicated on me.
I've got work in a few hours, so I'm going to run and do some laundry and get some lunch. Craving carrots in the worst possible way. Hope everyone's weekend was great!
