Spoiler free! So, saw the midnight show...

And it was good. Except for the headache.

Okay, the headache was compounded by the loud music in the car, and the fact that it must have been about 90 degrees in there. Sonnet's car does actually hate me - all the time's it's tried to throttle me to death should be evidence enough.

Spoilers are bad, so all I'll say is: Pippin is extremely awesome. The Hobbits all rocked, actually. And the rest of them weren't half bad, either. *cuddles them all close* I think Pippin kicked ass, even if certain roommates who shall remain nameless do think he's dumb. He did pretty well for a kid, I think.

Still a sex-kitten! And Billy Boyd can sing.

Now, someone else needs to go see it so I can be blissful about a certain scene between two certain Hobbits. Go! Watch!

*sighs* No getting around it. I'm going to have to actually reread the books again. Haven't read them since the first one came out and there's stuff I'm curious about. Good thing tomorrow is my day off.

I've been awake way too long. But I'm hungry now...

All right, now that I'm rested and coherent... (although five hours of sleep probably doens't count a lot towards either of those things)

Thoughts on RotK.

I can't afford to go see it again anytime soon, but that won't stop me from trying. I've decided I need to read the books again. The first time I read them I sort of cheated *coughs* and the second time I just wanted them read so I missed a lot. I have to admit that Tolkien is not my favorite writer, I tend to have to struggle onward through them, and to keep from losing interest. I also get distracted very, very easily. But I'm going to anyway.

*nods*

Especially since I have three different copies of Fellowship floating around here. I'm not sure how - I think two of them were gifts. Anyway.

I have to add, that this was the best movie experience I have ever had. Someone's always talking or soemthing, but the entire crowd was so into it that no one got on my nerves. Even the people in cosplay were well-behaved. ^_^ Everyone cheered, and clapped and laughed and it was great.

Okay, now I'm going to go find someone to giggle over the Hobbits with.
