(no subject)

I want to move to Portsmouth so I can ride the ferry every day! *bounces* I love the Elizabeth River Ferry. It's so much fun. I don't mind visiting Leena while she has work because I can just hop on the ferry and go shopping!

It was great to see Leena again. The VSC production of Amadeus was excellent - especially the costumes, of course! ;) Patrick Stewart's son Daniel played the King, so it was like being only two degrees of separation from Patrick Stewart! /fangirl

Leena and I hung out with Brad and Natalie from the theatre and watched South Park and some weird show called Kid Notorious that I'd never heard of before. Then Leena watched Japanese Ninja Turtles (because sanity is apparently overrated to her) while I napped on the couch. Went to bed FAR Too late. Was woken FAR too early by Leena's other roommate.

Today we went to see Revolutions with Brad, and shopped and hung out on a park bench talking. Then Leena had to go to work, so I stopped by Subway and caught the ferry back to her place (FERRY!). Watched Stargate on sci-fi while I waited for the traffic to lighten up. meiran, it was the ep with Cassandra and the retro-virus.

After rush hour, I left for home. Started to pour violently as I was driving. Figures. Was nearly killed numerous times. The worst part about Virginia highways is that they let Virginia drivers on them. grrr. Present company most likely excepted.

Paychecks didn't come in today because Airbourne Express randomly screws us over. So I have to go in early tomorrow and hope it's in so I can make the bank before it closes for the weekend. No Saturday hours for the People's Bank because that might be too convenient!

*stretches* Now I've been driving for two hours and I need to loosen up. Maybe a hot bath...
