Today I had my first meeting as head of the children's department. A brief meeting with Melanie, our general manager, about set up and design, then a two hour meeting with Debbie, the community relations manager. We wrote up the newsletter and discussed events for March. We decided to ask the author of the American Girls books (the one who wrote the Josephina books, not the one who wrote the Kaya books) to be our next guest speaker. Then Dana (Dana is a he, and he's the other general manager) and I went through the planner for next month. I already knew all the change over dates, which impressed him. ^_^ He showed me how to do store initiated returns. Then he told me that the decision to promote me had been unanimous among all the managers.
*excited grin*
What else, what else? Well, my two new Princess Tales books came in. I watched episodes two and three of Saiyuki, (MUST. HAVE. MORE.) and did a little cooking. Walked for a couple hours - it's warm enough out that I don't need a coat! Yatta! Nearly missed Futurama, worked on Saiyuki fic, came up with plot for new YYH fic.
I don't have to be anywhere till noon tomorrow, but I'm probably going to hit the sack soon and get a ridiculous amount of sleep. As of today I have a happy schedule of joy that doesn't involve me being up before 9am for two solid weeks. Oh, happy joy. ;)

deathgod02 is abusing me terribly. Oh, the humanity. You whack someone on the nose once or twice and this is what it all comes to...
Edit: Moderately pissy note of the day: One of the image galleries I went to started a pop-up flood. You know, where you close one window and three more open? All anime porn, of course. *rolls eyes*
