Work today, and in fairly large amounts, but this afternoon they're giving me the keys to the golf cart and sending me around campus on errands! Yay! Look out Hollins!
So if you're in Roanoke, VA this afternoon, stay off the sidewalks. ^_^'
Getting some writing done, too. I babbled a whole story-ette in my other account last night. I meant to just write down a few lines that were swimming in my head and it turned in to a fic somewhere along the line. Go figure. It's not awful though, so I may end up posting it to an ML somewhere. Show people what I'm capable of at three o'clock in the morning.
Writing has been something of a trial and error process for me lately. I can't seem to get focused on it, and I think a large part of that is because I don't know what to write. I'm dying to ujst sit down and write for a few hours, but my brain won't pick something to work on. Sonnet's LotR fanfic? My Greenwood story I've been meaning to finish?
Dear Lord, am I sick of Blood of Ancients. I know I need to finish it but the more people ask, the less I want anything to do with that story. Especially since it amounts to "You killed Nosedive? How could you? You better bring him back!" I don't mind feedback, but yeesh. Tell me what to write, huh? Teach me to post in chapters again.
Maybe I'll work on one of my original stories. Tenth hasn't been touched in a while - neither has Touch for that matter. I really like where both of those stories are going, so that may be just the way to get over the whole "what to write what to write?" problem.
I need to kidnap Mary and make her take me to X-Tremes. I want to see if they have the LotR action figures. Plus, my copies of Legion and Impulse should be in by now - heck, a couple months worth should be in. And The Authority is finally being released again! *claps and hums the Hallelujah chorus* Midnighter and Apollo, here come!
We're going to the movies Friday, Mary and I, with Will and Sarah and Jen. That should be fun, I think. Mary and I have both seen the movie already but Will and Jen haven't. We're going to the last showing just so there will be seats available. Last time they sold out on us. grr argh.
But it's noon, so lunchbreak! Breath deep all, it's over.
