Going nomail
Sep. 14th, 2001 05:13 amIt's sad. I just went nomail on the Boy Meets Boy mailing list.
I've spent the last three days seeing listmembers post about how much we deserved this and how America had it coming.
I just found out about a fourth person I knew who was there and is amongst the dead.
I won't sit there and listen to people tell me my friends deserved this. I won't sit there and be told how much I suck for being American, or how much I deserve to die too because my government did some unpopular things.
BoyMeetsBoy is unmoderated. So I can't even ask the moderators if this is acceptable list conversation.
So rather than sit there and be told my friends deserved to die, I'm not going to be reading or posting to BMB anymore. I may again, a long time from now. But I doubt it. Not knowing that there are people on that list with so little compassion in them that all they can say right now is "You deserve it."
