Maybe it's the fact that the sun hasn't come out in the last 12 days, or the currently desperate state of financial affairs. Part of it is that every time I turn around lately, there are pictures and newscasts and videos and books reminding everyone that it's five years since 9/11 and hell, that's depressing enough all by itself.
Who knows.
I'm going to stop by Babies R Us and get something for the baby. Will wants pink, cutesy things, but Julia is insisting on gender-neutral colors. I think I shall get something with dinosaurs on it. And a copy of Jimmy Zangwow's Out-of-This-World Moon Pie Adventure. Because that's an awesome book.
