onemuseleftApparently US troops, attempting to arrest men suspected/guilty of terrorist/insurrectionist acts, have on two seperate occasions arrested the suspects' wives instead. One was nursing an infant. They left a note tacked to the other woman's front door telling her husband "come get your wife". It's interesting to see what sort of crap is considered justifiable nowadays.
I especially like the little bit down below where they quote someone as having thought the women fought hard and were difficult. Dude. If I've been arrested by invading foreigners who are trying to use me against my husband, you bet your ass I'm going to be difficult about it. I don't think that's a good enough reason to keep them in jail.
In other, less aggravating news, only one more week till my mini-vacation. Sonnet and I are driving down to Roanoke (we may stay overnight, haven't worked it all out yet) to see Molly and Megan, then I plan on abusing Sonnet's Playstation for a day so I can get back into the Silent Hill frame of mind. For those of you who've not played the game, the Silent Hill frame of mind largely consists of the following:
"Oh my God! That's disgusting! AAAAAAAAAAAAAH! What the &*%) is that?! WHY IS HE TRYING TO SHOOT ME? Zombies! Ghosts! Nononononono! Run! No, I don't want to jump down the giant evil hole to hell you stupi- oh, he just jumped down the hole. Why is there something breathing in this room? What on earth is that? That's gross! Oh, yuck! Pyramid Head! Run away! Why is the giant rabbit following me? Sonnet, kill this guy for me!"
^_^ I said I liked it cause it was scary. I never said I was any good.
