day after turkey day
Nov. 23rd, 2001 11:20 pmThanksgiving went pretty well. LOTS of screaming kids, as expected. Me, mom and my cousin-in-law Kevin sought refuge on the front porch for a while until everyone went to bed. Patty (cousin Patty, not sister Patti or Aunt Pat) lets me monopolize her baby - he's sooooo adorable! Other than that it's been typical. Bob's ex is getting him all tied up in knots. He needs to stop mooning after her.
Today I talked to the guy at the dealership - car's *probably* salvageable, but it'll take some serious doing and negotiating with the insurance company. Meanwhile, I have to rent a car to get back to school on time. It's cheaper than Amtrack though. I just have to find someone who can drive me back to school after I return the car.
Tomorrow we're going shopping again and then taking Mom and Aunt Pat to see Harry Potter. That'll be nice. I liked that movie.
Anyway, back to the family fold. WAY too many cousins, I'm telling you.
