WIP Wednesday
It's still Wednesday SOMEWHERE

“There’s going to be a tribal conference,” Zhu Hong says. “You should come.”
“I’m not a tribe,” Da Qing says. He smiles, but it hurts his face, and from the way her smile slips, it looks just as bad as it feels.
“There have to be more cats out there somewhere,” Zhu Hong says. “There’s no way you were the only one.”
He thinks of Da Ji, of the lives ripped away from her, of the lives sacrificed. He can still feel the weight of her body in his arms sometimes, just like he can Lao Li and Zhao Yunlan’s. It gets heavy sometimes. He doesn’t know how to set them down without losing them.
