Work today was an adventure. Fortunately Tanya has good reflexes so no one got hurt. And I now have books to read, and the Two Towers extended edition. And two pictures of Michael Hurst and Kevin Sorbo being all buddy-buddy (currently hanging on the wall next to my computer). Yum.

My Ten Unpopular Fandom Opinions
in no particular order.
1. Cassie from Animorphs is the most unsympathetic, unlikable character I have ever encountered. Including JarJar Binks and Relena Peacecraft.
2. Cosmic Boy kicks Live Wire's ass. And Saturn Girl needs to keep her hands off both of them.
3. The "death of a main character" in the Order of the Phoenix was one of the biggest cop outs I've ever seen.
4. Benjamin Hoff's The House on the Point was better than the original.
5. I have never read a Stephen King book worth reading a second time.
6. Jason Todd was a jerk and I'm glad the Joker blew him up.
7. Vimes is cooler than Vetinari.
8. Rapefic, slash, chanfic, incestfic, gen, hetero - as long as they're in character, I'll give anything a fair chance.
9. I'm sorry, but I didn't like the Very Secret Diaries. I didn't think they were funny and I didn't think they were original.
10. If you write, that's your business. If you post then it's everybody's business. And I'm sorry, but Chris Larabee/Ken Hutchinson/Iolaus/Severus Snape are all very different people and thus should not all act and sound exactly alike. Now fix it, make them stop crying, and for god's sake, use the damn spell check.
