I just won some sort of award for idiocy. The lamp on the end table got knocked over again, right? So I lean over and pick it up by the plastic part that the bulb is screwed into and give myself a nasty electric shock. Seems the top and bottom halves have come apart when it fell. I managed not to drop the lamp but my left arm is doing it's best impression of a dead fish. And I have to leave now to wait tables. This is a bad omen, isn't it?
