Happy Day After Thanksgiving!
And to all my friends who are, like myself, in retail: God help us all.
I'm working tonight, a closing shift, so I'm on my way back to Newport News. It's a one hour drive, so I've given myself twice that. Hopefully I'll make it in time.
I had a lovely time here at Sonnet's. There was MUCH cooking and the only time the smoke alarm went off was this morning when I was making cinnamon rolls. ^_^ The rolls survived, just the bottoms were a bit burned.
Didn't get nearly as much done as I had planned on, which is typical for holidays, right? Did some writing, did some reading, did my level best to provoke Sonnet into writing a YYH/Supernatural crossover. (I think Kurama and Sam would be quite slashy) and then we stayed up too late. Both nights. ^_^
Off to work I go. Hope everyone had a great day, whether you celebrated it or not.
