The sun is actually out. Color me surprised. I thought it was just going to rain for the rest of the year.

Went to the fairgrounds near the Coliseum last night with a couple of people from work. We only stayed an hour or so, but it was a lot of fun. Ferris wheel, merry-go-round, funnel cake! Afterward, I hit the grocery store, and that was pretty much it for my day. Wednesday I'm going to the beach with Laura and a friend of hers, Sarah, I think. Someone I've never met, anyway. Then Haley's getting married on the 11th, so her bridal shower is a drag show (Why yes, I do have some interesting friends) in Virginia Beach.

Is anyone else having problems with eBay lately? AOL will no longer let me near them, claiming that they've had complaints of "phishing" (god, I hate that word) from their customers so they're temporarily disallowing access. In the meantime, I'm getting emails from eBay claiming my account has been compromised and that they've reset my password.

When I follow the instructions (through IE instead of AOL) to get my password reset, all I get is an email, with a link to a page that does not exist. Color me extremely suspicious.

I've reported the whole shebang to eBay as fraudulent and requested they provide me with accurate instructions on how to change my password. The email is telling my I'll have to relist any items for sale (I've got 40-something listed at half.com, so I'm a bit annoyed, but it beats getting ripped off). The most annoying detail is that I can't get a straight answer on what's going on. Was my account actually compromised, or is this a security thing? Did *I* mess up somewhere along the line? Gah. Annoyed now.

I'm rereading Rules of Ascension by David Coe, which I strongly recommend to anyone who likes fantasy.

Also, I'm finally going to suck it up and finish Animorphs. I've put off reading the last book for... years now, because I knew Applegate was going to piss me off. But I want to know what really happened, if only so I can deny it that much more adamantly.

And that's it for my exciting life. Be sure to tune in tomorrow when I talk about cleaning the apartment.
